We collect only the information you provide to us and a small amount of technical data required to run the website.

  • Contact details — name, email, phone number, and city when you request a quote or apply for a job
  • Service details — type of cleaning, property size, frequency, and any preferences you share
  • Application details — availability, experience, and a short message when you apply through our careers page
  • Communications — the content of emails, messages, or phone calls you exchange with us

3. Why we collect it

We use your information for these purposes only:

  • To respond to quote requests, bookings, and inquiries
  • To schedule and deliver cleaning services

  • To send appointment confirmations, invoices, and service-related communications

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Our cleaning crews — the minimum information needed to complete your service (name, address, access instructions, special notes)
  • Service providers — email delivery (Resend), web hosting (Hostinger), and payment processing, where applicable. These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments.
  • Legal authorities — only when required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others

5. How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and staff training. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take this responsibility seriously.

6. How long we keep it

We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above, or as required by law. Client records are kept for the duration of our service relationship plus seven years for tax and accounting purposes. Job applications are kept for up to two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

7. Your rights

Under the BC Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Withdraw your consent to further processing (this may affect our ability to provide service)
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia
