We use plant-based, non-toxic products that are safe for children, pets, and people with chemical sensitivities. Our lineup is third-party certified eco-friendly and includes hospital-grade disinfectants for high-touch surfaces — still free of VOCs and harsh fumes.

No bleach, no ammonia, no synthetic fragrances. If you have a specific product you'd like us to use, or one you'd like us to avoid, let us know in your quote and we'll accommodate.

Pricing depends on square footage, frequency, and scope. As a general guide:

  • Recurring home cleans — typically $140 to $280 per visit
  • Deep cleans — quoted individually, usually 1.5–2× a standard visit
  • Move-in / move-out — flat-rate quotes based on square footage
  • Commercial contracts — scoped per facility and frequency

Yes. EcoSpruce is fully insured and bonded, and every cleaner on our team is background-checked and covered by WorkSafeBC.

We can provide a certificate of insurance on request — useful for commercial clients, landlords, and strata councils.

No — most clients give us a key, a code, or lockbox access and go about their day. Our crews are background-checked and insured, and we follow strict key-handling protocols.

If you prefer to be home, that's fine too. Many of our clients like to chat on the first visit and then transition to us letting ourselves in for recurring cleans.

We love pets, and our products are safe around them. Let us know in your quote request if your pets are anxious around new people or if you'd like them contained during the clean.

Our crews are trained to work calmly and carefully around animals — and we're happy to follow any specific instructions about doors, gates, or rooms to avoid.

Just call, text, or email us at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit — no fees, no hassle.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service, since we've already dispatched the crew and can't easily rebook the slot.

A standard clean covers surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and dusting — the weekly maintenance that keeps a home running.

A deep clean adds baseboards, inside cabinets, inside the fridge and oven, detailed grout work, light fixtures, and everything a standard visit doesn't reach.

First-time clients almost always start with a deep clean, then switch to recurring standard visits. It's the most efficient way to get a home to a steady, maintainable baseline.

Yes. We bring everything — plant-based products, HEPA vacuums, colour-coded microfibre cloths (separated by zone to prevent cross-contamination), mops, and any specialty tools the job requires.

If you have a vacuum or product you'd prefer we use, just let us know. We're happy to work with what you have.

We accept e-transfer, credit card, and for commercial clients, net-30 invoicing. You'll receive an invoice after each visit, and recurring clients can opt in to auto-pay.

No deposits, no up-front fees. You pay after the work is done.

Tell us within 24 hours and we'll return to re-clean the area at no cost. That's our guarantee.

We're locally owned and locally accountable — when you call, you reach us directly. If something needs making right, we make it right, same day whenever possible.

Absolutely — and it's our default. Recurring clients are assigned a consistent team so you see the same trusted faces every visit. No rotating strangers, no re-explaining your preferences.

If your regular crew is ever unavailable (sickness, vacation), we'll let you know in advance and brief the replacement on your preferences.
